Resources – Parent Forums How-to-Guide

It is completely understandable for parents to have questions about vaccines. Every parent wants to keep their child safe and free from diseases and should make sure their child has the best care possible.  Our parent guide gives immunization advocates an important tool to help bring parents and experts together in a community setting.

Answering Questions at Community Parent Forums: A How-To Guide provides easy steps to find speakers and venues, create effective outreach, and includes up-to-date resources, scientific references, and speaker talking points. The guide also provides templates for a promotional flyer, evaluation forms, and day-of-the- event checklist. A sample slide set, donated courtesy of Dr. Eric Courchesne at the UC San Diego’s Autism Center of Excellence, is included as an appendix.
