Providing Strong and Reassuring Recommendations for Prenatal Vaccinations

Please join us for the next CIC Education Hour on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at 12:00 pm PT. This webinar will focus on immunization recommendations for pregnant women and best practices for improving immunization rates in this population.

By the end of the call, participants will be able to:    

  • Describe the benefits to pregnant women and their babies of prenatal vaccination against pertussis and influenza
  • Identify one best practice to improve pertussis and influenza vaccination rates among pregnant women in a practice.
  • Understand the basic concepts of  ‘Effective Communication without Confrontation’ and be able to apply them to promote vaccination of their pregnant patients.
